Delores A. Hartman, 57, Marion, died at 9:22 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 1998, in her home after a one and one-half year fight with liver cancer. Mrs. Hartman was born in Osaka, VA, and was a long time resident of Marion. She was a graduate of Marion High School. She married Philip A. Hartman on Sept. 26, 1959. He died July 28, 1997. She was employed in the Institutional Advancement Office at Indiana Wesleyan University. She was a member of Brookhaven Wesleyan Church. Her favorite pastimes were sewing, crafts, gardening and being with her children and grandchildren.  Survivors include two sons, Philip (Julie), Fort Wayne, and Mark (Tiffany), Marion; a daughter, Trina (Mrs. Jan) Stout, Yorktown; two sisters, Sandra (Mrs. Gerry) McBride, and Janice (Mrs. Richard) McKelleb, both of Dallas; her stepmother, Gladys Markland, Marion, and eight grandchildren. Burial was in Grant Memorial Park cemetery.
